Former ww2 Fortress located in Newcastle as part of a joint operation with Fort Schratchley and other military sites on the coast to defend crucial war produce from a potential Japanese naval assault. The remains of the fort still stand including buildings, some tunnels, gun emplacements, etc. Easily accessible via the road, gaps in the fence and quite low risk.
